  Communist Party of Bangladesh আগামীকাল ১ মার্চ শহীদ কমরেড তাজুল দিবস আগামী ১ মার্চ শহীদ কমরেড তাজুল দিবস। স্বৈরাচারবিরোধী গণতান্ত্রিক আন্দোলন ও মানবমুক্তির সংগ্রামে নিবেদিত প্রাণ শহীদ কমরেড তাজুল ইসলাম এই দিন শহীদ হন। ১৯৮৪ সালের এই দিনে এরশাদ সামরিক স্বৈরশাসনের বিরুদ্ধে এবং শ্রমিক-কর্মচারীদের ৫ দফা দাবিতে ১৫ দল, ৭ দল ও ১১টি শ্রমিক ফেডারেশনের ঐক্যবদ্ধ গণআন্দোলনের মুখে সরকারের লেলিয়ে দেয়া গুণ্ডাবাহিনীর হাতে তাজুল শহীদ হন। তিনি ছিলেন বাংলাদেশের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টির (সিপিবি) আদমজী শাখার সম্পাদক এবং ‘আদমজী মজদুর ট্রেড ইউনিয়নে’র নেতা। উল্লেখ্য, কুমিল্লা জেলার মতলব থানার ইছাখালি গ্রামের এক সাধারণ পরিবারের সন্তান তাজুল শৈশবে মাতৃহারা হয়ে আর্থিক সঙ্কট মোকাবেলার জন্য ঢাকা শহরে গৃহভৃত্য ও আইসক্রিম বিক্রি করতে বাধ্য হয়েছিলেন। কিন্তু সেই প্রবল প্রতিকূলতা শিক্ষা গ্রহণের প্রতি তার আগ্রহ কমাতে পারেনি। তিনি পঞ্চম ও অষ্টম শ্রেণির বৃত্তি পরীক্ষায় কুমিল্লায় প্রথম স্থান অধিকার করেন। ১৯৬৮ সালে তাজুল ইসলাম ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অর্থনীতি বিভাগে ভর্তি হন। সপ্তম শ্রেণিতে পড়ার সময় তিনি ছাত্র ইউনিয়নে যোগদান করে...
